I love the background fabric as much as the applique. The first thought in my head when I viewed the block was "Scents of Peppermint". What a 'sweet sweet block'.

The Piece O'Cake way is what sold me on hand applique. And I have other Kaffe Fasset fabrics that would be fabulous with that gorgeous block. I think it would be a great contribution to our guild's Christmas charity quilt donation.

Good luck to all!
