Becky appliqued this block (by hand, herself) for a class and it never made it into a quilt. The background is 12 1/2" x 19 1/2" and it has not been trimmed.

Your trademark bright colors and simple lines. But I espec like the background fabrics. With winter still upon us, it looks like snow is falling and the winter winds blowing but these brave blooms won't be done in.

I have only recently starting reading your blog and am enjoying it. Wondered if you could write again about the plastic you use for sketching quilt patterns on. How do you transfer the pattern to the quilt itself once you have decided on a specific pattern? Thanks!
