Anne does not let any grass grow under her feet! Today she sent me a link to the photos. I'm impressed! This is my first experience with a guild blog. What a good idea! Click here to go to the photos taken in my class. Scroll up and down to see more of their blog.

Sunny Flowers in Bryan, TX
I taught the Sunny Flowers class yesterday to 22 lovely ladies from the Brazos Bluebonnet Quilt Guild in Bryan, TX. Anne Perry, the "blog mistress" and/or historian, asked my permission to take photographs of the class throughout the day to post on their guild's blog. I said yes and she discretely took photos (and some videos, also with permission) throughout the day.

Great pictures! Do you ever go abroad to teach? I'm thinking you should take a European quilting-lessons-tour! That way we could benefit from your tremendous talent as well :-) I'm sure quilters here would be interested!
I have taught in Australia and I may be teaching in Ireland in June, 2011. I would really love to teach in Europe! If asked, I would come.
I'm pretty sure my husband, Steve, would hope to come too. He really enjoys being able to occasionally tag along on my business trips.
And New Zealand! I've also had the chance to teach in New Zealand. What a lovely place with wonderful people. I want to go back :-).
I looked at the pictures from the class, and read accompanying paragraph. Just curious - the blog writer mentioned that they learned that "Ott-type lights must be kept below eye-level for safety reasons". Why is that exactly? I have several Ott-Lites. I love them and use them for my applique all the time. Just curious and anxious to hear your safety recommendations. Thanks, Jay
Wow! That is good news! So I may still have a chance to take a class from you!! I am a member of some pretty big guilds here, so maybe....
